sappy music on tv,
a tender moment,
and my thoughts are lost.
i didn't see, i could only hear.
that was enough.
getting ready for a change,
and somehow still thinking of the last one.
so long ago
and yet so close
that all my life is still in it.
i want to tell you all i feel,
all i still feel.
but i know your response,
and i cannot take it.
i will not bend to show my weakness
